Johan Alvemalm

 

Manipulative Physiotherapist (GradDip Physio (UK), Post GradDip Manip Ther)

Johan graduated from Wolverhampton School of Physiotherapy in 1989 and went onto complete his postgraduate studies at Curtin University in 1992.  Johan has worked and taught extensively around the world including in Sweden, Ireland, Singapore and Zimbabwe to name a few.   He continues to teach internationally on a regular basis and is well respected throughout the globe for his Manipulative expertise.  Johan has extensive experience in treating patients with pain from the musculoskeletal system and is often referred patients from other Physiotherapists or Medical Practitioners for a second opinion or to manage particularly complex cases.  He is the founding owner of PhysioPLUS at 186 and has been working out of the same premises for the last 13 years. 

Luke Vladich

 

Physiotherapist (BSc Physio, BSc HM)

Luke Graduated from Curtin University as a Physiotherapist in 1998 and has worked as either a private practice Physiotherapist or for sporting teams, gaining an extensive wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. 

 

He is known throughout Perth for his special area of expertise in the treatment and diagnosis of painful shoulder problems and for his manual therapy techniques in treating the spine.  Previous roles with numerous sporting teams, including being Physiotherapist to the Australian Paralympic team during the 2000’s, ensures excellent management of sports injuries. 

 

Luke also has over a decade of experience in Occupational Health and the treatment and rehabilitation of work related injuries through his own exercise rehab business, Strength@ Work. 

Jeff Peters 

Podiatrist (BSc (Pod), Grad Dip Health Prom & Ed, MSc (Pod) FACPS (Ret)).

Jeff graduated from WAIT / Curtin University in 1981 with a Diploma of Applied Science (Podiatry). In 1987 this was converted at to a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1991 he completed a Graduate Diploma of Health Promotion and Education and in 1999 a Masters of Science (Podiatry). In addition in 1999 he completed his surgical studies and graduated as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons.

Jeff commenced clinical practice in 1982 working in private practice, in nursing homes and with Veterans Affairs. In 1984 he commenced employment with the Health Department working in community health centres in Lockridge and Kwinana. In 1989 he became the Podiatrist in Charge of Sir Charles Gairdner hospital and ran the hospital department high risk clinics for 18 years. From 1989 to today he has owned a number of private Podiatry practices, Myaree, Booragoon, Perth City, and West Perth; and now solely in Nedlands and Attadale. From 1999 to 2006 Jeff practiced as a Surgical Podiatrist before retiring and hanging up his scalpel.

 

Jeff is married with 3 grown daughters, is currently the President of Podiatry WA (For the third time) and is a long suffering and inaugural member of the Western Force.
